On April 13, 2020, the Livermore City Council approved a package of new emergency orders that offer relief for businesses and people having trouble paying bills as a result of COVID-19. As part of the package, the council approved a temporary ban on residential and commercial evictions for nonpayment of rent for renters affected by COVID-19 through May 31.
