landlord & tenant update

Vallejo has instituted protections for residential and commercial tenants.

During the Coronavirus/COVID-19 state of emergency, Vallejo landlords cannot evict a tenant (residential or commercial) for non-payment of rent due to Coronavirus/COVID-19 financial disruption or out-of-pocket medical costs related to the pandemic. Tenants have to provide documentation supporting negative in writing to the landlord. The date the rent will need to be re-paid is currently unclear.
